Best of 2024 – Bristol Wedding Photographers
As is tradition, here it is – my annual highlights of the last 12 months as Bristol wedding photographers. I feel like I always repeat myself but honestly I could not have enjoyed the last 12 months as a documentary wedding photographer more. I really loved getting to know you all and witnessing and recording such awesome times in your lives. So thank you for everyone that put their trust in me and I hope everyone looking at this enjoys the film below! I’m going into my 15th year photographing weddings full time and so I also thought it would be good to make some New Year Resolutions this year:
1. Blog more than once a year (I’ve had a busy 12 months shooting exceptionally lovely weddings as well as commercial advertising work in Spain, France, Canada and Brazil to name just a few places) so I always neglect my poor website. Anyway this is me publicly acknowledging that and hoping to do better *insert fingers crossed emoji here*
2. Okay so this is similar but post to Instagram more than once a month. Again with the fingers crossed emoji!
3. Try and spend less time on my phone when relaxing / doing family life (not that compatible with wanting to respond to emails quickly and try and maintain a social media presence… but maybe just aim for a better balance.)
4. Shoot more personal work and push myself creatively. I think it’s really important to shoot stuff you’re interested in and learn new things and to keep growing.
What are some of your aims for 2025?
(Also – 2025?!?!? Can we just take a moment to stop and wonder where the flying cars and robot butlers are? Madness)
PS If you would like to see my highlights from 2023 you can find them exclusively on instagram – 2023 (see what I mean about needing to blog more)
