Another new venue for me today – the beautiful Bear of Rodborough Hotel in the Cotswolds. Charlotte and Rich got married here in the autumn and it was a real treat to be their photographer! We met up in Bristol a few months before the wedding and had a good chat about their plans. They decided on a November wedding as that way they wouldn’t mind if it was raining!! It turned out to be a pretty beautiful day though which meant we got to go out onto the common near the hotel and shoot some lovely portraits of the two of them which was really fun! The day started off with getting ready at the hotel and it was nice to see the amazing hair stylist Chris Fordham there (do check him out if you’re getting married in the Cotswolds, he’s great). The church ceremony was in a beautiful little church on the edge of Stroud and after nailing their confetti exit, the three of us headed up to the common to get some pictures. Charlotte swapped high heels for timberlands and away we went. After that it was back to the hotel for drinks and then onto dinner and speeches. The Bear is a great space inside with lots of different rooms for people to enjoy and it has a lovely cosy atmosphere so it was perfect at this time of year. Enjoy! x
