A gloriously summery wedding from France for you today. Last summer I had the pleasure of heading to the Manoir de Vacheresses near Paris for the wedding of Katherine and Antoinne. I just love french weddings. So many cool customs (hell0, surprise speeches!) and just a really laid back fun atmosphere all day long. We started off in the morning in a nearby hotel in Maintenon and I had a lot of fun shooting everyone getting ready. It’s always such a lovely part of the day… the nerves and excitement never fail to make for some awesome images. Once everyone was nearly ready I headed off to the beautiful church in Villiers-le-Morhier. It was super nice to see some familiar faces in the crowd too (Hi celine and thomas!) who I photographed in 2015. Before we all knew it the ceremony was finishing up and Katherine and Antoinne exited to a flood of confetti. We headed straight to the Manoir to get some portraits in the beautiful sun shine before the guests arrived for the cocktails and canapes. I had such a lovely day with everyone – the party and speeches were great fun and if you can show me a more impressive way of serving your guests champagne after dinner then I’ll eat my hat. Enjoy!
