A gorgeous wedding for you today from the amazing Polhawn Fort wedding venue in Cornwall. Sitting on the cliffs outside Plymouth, with amazing views out to sea and it’s own private beach, Polhawn Fort feels very special indeed. This was my first time photographing a wedding at Polhawn Fort but I’ve already been back since and absolutely love it there. It’s rare to find such a unique and atmospheric venue and those views are awesome. Maria and Dan made me feel welcome from the very beginning (we’d actually had an engagement shoot on the edge of another cliff – in the Cheddar Gorge – which was pretty fitting). They planned an awesome day with all their friends and family and it was absolutely perfect. They didn’t even complain about the long walk back up from the beach!! :D
From the start to the rather champagne-drenched finish it was utterly brilliant fun and it was great to meet Jack and Emma too whose wedding I’m photographing in a month or two! *waves* Anyway I’ll let you take a look through the pictures. I can practically smell the cornish sea air just from putting this blog post together. Enjoy!
