Pencoed House Wedding Photography – Kimberley & Simon
I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog Kimberley and Simon’s awesome Pencoed House wedding. Well, actually, I can. I’m a bit slow at blogging. But still… nearly 3 years! That’s some kind of record. It was my first time shooting at Pencoed House wedding venue near Cardiff and I absolutely loved it. A beautiful old house and barn nestled in the countryside with some amazing scenery and backdrops for wedding photos. And to top it all off I got to spend the day with a super lovely couple and all their friends and family. Kimberley and Simon were so brilliant to work with – fun, friendly and determined to have an awesome day. Just perfect. We started off with clouds of hairspray and raucous laughter, and once Kimberley was in her dress I headed off to Pencoed to meet Simon. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and as everyone flowed out on to the lawn afterwards the sun shone and the pimms was swiftly consumed. I’m not sure that made anyone better at the giant jenga but they seemed to be having fun nonetheless ;) After a while we wandered off to the woods for some portraits and then it was time for dinner and speeches. I love the image of Kimberley’s face as she entered for the meal, one of my all time favs. The evening was spent ceilidh’ing and just before I finished we decided to head out and make the most of the little bit of rain that had started to fall. Quite a good way to cool off after a ceilidh to be honest!! It was a lovely day x
