It’s currently November. It’s dark. It’s been raining for 78 hours solid (a slight exaggeration). So what do we want? A SLICE OF SUMMER! When do we want it? NOW! Okay then. Here’s Katie and Tom’s awesome Yeo Valley Organic Gardens wedding!
I didn’t even know Yeo Valley did weddings. It turns out they don’t do that many. They like to keep them special. And boy was this day special. We started off with Katie and Tom’s ceremony at Harptree Court, a gorgeous old building in East Harptree. Katie had her make up done by the lovely Nina Norman who I bump into at least a few times every year. And her gorgeous flowers were by Charlotte at Classic Flower Designs. Look hard and you might catch a glimpse of them both :)
Katie and Tom couldn’t have been nicer to spend a day with. Warm, welcoming, full of laughter and happiness. The sun shone down on us right from the outset and the outdoor ceremony at Harptree Court was beautiful. With all the vows made we made our way to the front lawn for some drinks (champagne for the guests, water for me). After a bit of confetti and some more drinks we all headed off to explore the gardens at Yeo Valley. It’s a stunning location, nestled in the valley and overlooking the beautiful Blagdon lake. Once everyone arrived then nibbles were nibbled, champagne was sipped and we moved onto the meal, speeches and the rest of the night followed. Oh, and we were treated to an amazing sunset and some incredible moves on the dancefloor. What more could you want.
Love that photo of the bride walking down the stairs before the ceremony. Beautiful. You’ve captured so many wonderful natural moments. Love the sunset photos as well.
