A bit of a treat for you today with Misha & Liam’s wedding at Kilver Court Gardens in Somerset from just last month. Kilver Court Gardens Weddings are a bit of a hidden gem really – unless you know the gardens are there you could easily drive by with no idea what lay behind the imposing old Victorian building. Which is exactly what I did when I first arrived. It’s ok though, I realised my mistake about 30 seconds later and swiftly turned around and found the car park I was looking for.
Misha first got in touch with me back in March of last year. That was even before her and Liam had set a date or picked a venue in fact – so I was pretty honoured to be contacted at that stage! When they decided on Kilver Court Gardens then we met up and chatted about their plans and things evolved from there. I was excited to see what Misha would do with the venue and was not disappointed. The amount of care and effort that went into decorating the rooms and adding so many personal touches was immense. It looked brilliant on the day and the gardens felt like some sort of paradise. The sun shone and people laughed, explored, drank cocktails and had fun. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever met a nicer couple – it was clear how loved they were by their friends and families and how much they cared for one another. Massive congratulations guys, you rocked it :) x
Just found your site. Its rare that I find a wedding photographer that I really like (I have photographed 300 myself). I have to say your images are fantastic. The understanding of light as well as capturing those moments is great. Definitely earmarked for our wedding when we finally get around to it!
Photographs are stunning with a great tone. What really impresses me is that you’ve really captured the fun element to this wedding. Great work
Great photos. I love the distant shot of them in the doorway. Its really original. The limbo shot is cool also.
