A fantastic wedding to share with you today – Olivia and Chris’ Black Swan inspired back garden wedding. Way back when the days were long and the sun shone (July, to be precise) I travelled up to Oxfordshire for their awesome wedding. Starting off with some of the most beautiful light I think I’ve ever seen in the morning, things steadily progressed until before we knew it we were at the church. That always seems to happen at weddings. One moment there’s loads of time and everyone is getting ready – and then suddenly there’s only half an hour to go and it seems to come out of nowhere. It’s like the normal time-space continuum seems to take a little knock on a wedding day. Anyway, before we knew it we were at the church, and then they were married. We returned to Olivia’s parents’ house where doves were promptly released, champagne was sipped and canapés delicately selected. And in a truly beautiful setting. So many gorgeous touches – the table plan hung from a tree, tiny little lights festooned everywhere and balloons attached to anything heavy enough to hold them down. I think that’s enough from me – time to go and take a look for yourselves, but I will say this – make sure you see the first dance.

Sublime work Mr G!!! So many amazing frames, the one with the dress on in the window is a beauty!!
Butt-kickingly gorgeous photos, Gibson. Looks like an incredible day.
Smashed it – love the first dance lift – that right there is the decisive moment!
