I had a blast this weekend – Shakira and Pete got married at the rather lovely Crowcombe Court and luckily for me they chose me as their wedding photographer. It was my first time at Crowcombe, an 18th century country house nestled in the Quantocks. To say I was excited about this wedding is a bit of an understatement, you see I knew something that Shakira and Pete’s guests didn’t… I knew that after the wedding ceremony we were being whisked away on a vintage bus to a waiting steam train, for a ride on the glorious Somerset and Dorset Railway line! How cool is that?! So that’s exactly what happened, and great fun it was too. There should definitely be more steam trains in the world! Here’s a little preview from the wedding day for now, but keep an eye out for the full blog post in the future. Congratulations you two (and thank you for the chocolates!)
