Papa Kata Tipi Wedding in Hampshire: Ben + Gilly
Hey everyone – a full wedding for you this week! And what better than Ben and Gilly’s awesome tipi wedding in Hampshire from the start of the summer this year. It was a lovely, lovely day. They had what can only be described as just about the coolest wedding car I’ve ever seen – a bright red Fiat 500 (pictures below, obviously) – and they got married at Hawkley Church and then had a big party at Church Farm, just down the road. The reception was in a fantastic papa kata tipi and the decorations inside were amazing – ben and gilly had collected all the lanterns themselves. I love the contrast between the traditional church wedding and the relaxed party after… although, having all your guests singing the Bare Necessities in church isn’t all that traditional I guess.
I’ve been crazy busy over the past 8 weeks so apologies for the slightly quieter than average blog, I’m trying to keep up with showing you previews of what I’ve been doing, along with shooting and editing everyone’s images and designing albums too. So hopefully this will redress the balance a little, and I’ll blog some more of my documentary wedding photography next week. But for now, sit back and enjoy Ben and Gilly’s day….
