Remember back when it was cold and the days were still short? No, not last week. Back in December. Yes, well that’s when emma + alex tied the knot at Ashton Court Mansion just outside Bristol. I’d not photographed a wedding there before, but we all met up a few weeks before the wedding to take a look around and talk through the wedding photography and their plans for the day. The day itself was an emotional one for many reasons and I felt truly honoured to be there and to work with them. Their friends and family were great fun and I can honestly say that emma and alex filled the room with joy and happiness. Just look at emma’s smile and you’ll see what I mean. I’ve also never seen anyone dance SO nimbly whilst wearing such a big dress. Emma is most definitely multi-talented. Here are some of my favourite wedding photographs from their day. Thank you emma + alex!

Gorgeous images Sam, lovely story telling and great timing. Very classy… Some very nice emotional images of Dad there too…
Great wedding set here. Awesome light in the ceremony, great posing and compositions for the portraits, and sweet dance shots too!
It’s me! Still look at my photos every day I love them all, you did an epic job Sam thanks, Em and Al
Excellent work Mr Gibson. I have a real thing for bridal prep shots at the moment so that 3rd frame is pure gold to me.
Beautiful bride. Lovely images capturing full range of emotions
