Well, there must be an R in the month as I’ve managed to blog a whole wedding for what feels like the first time in ages. Hence this is a pretty long post – you might want to make sure you have a drink, and possibly some nibbles, to see you through. Anyway, Helen and Ben were married in August at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church and then held their reception at Clevedon Hall. Clevedon Hall is in Clevedon, for those that hadn’t yet put two and two together. Clevedon is not far from Bristol, and so they found me and liked my documentary wedding photography and we met and hit it off and … well, you get the picture. And that’s how I found myself at Clevedon Hall one sunny Saturday in August. I’ve picked out some of my favourites from the day and I hope you enjoy looking at them. Helen and Ben were an absolute delight to work with. Relaxed, laughing and joking all day long. We had a blast!
Oh yes – I’d like to add a personal thank you to this gentleman, who helped us by hiding behind a wall and holding onto Helen’s veil to stop it blowing away…
Love your work Sam.
This wedding is really well captured. Great set!
Fabulous selection of images. Love the ones of her dad and the use of negative space. Brilliant.
I LOVE the bandstand and bench shots x
Absolutely fantastic coverage! Fantastic work
Lovely work Sam – you have made this style very much your own.
Great work mate – a lot of favourites here.
Great work Sam – for some reason I particularly like the dance shot with the girl in the Nike high tops – always happens at weddings but rarely captured.
Really like this set Sam. The characters and emotions shine through in every shot.
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment :)
A great set of images from the day Sam, finished by some wonderful 1st dance shots (love the 2nd dance shot of Helen and Ben especially!)
