Press: Bristol and Bath Wedding Photography in Folio Magazine

Some of you might have seen this already as it’s been out for a week or two now, but for those who haven’t… I had a great day in August at Cadbury House Hotel shooting the cover item for Folio magazine’s autumn wedding supplement. It’s always interesting to do something a bit different and this definitely came under that category. Oscar and Elena, our two models from SHOOTDHS, were really fantastic. They had a natural chemistry and I think it really comes through in the photographs.

We had some great dresses from Caroline Castigliano. Oscar wore suits by Mark Wallace and we had some very sparkly jewellery from John Titcombe of Clifton (where I bought my wife’s engagement ring too!) As you can see, we didn’t just keep to the traditional poses. Luckily one of my motto’s has always been ‘when presented with a giant fibreglass cow, use it’.

That amazing wedding cake came from Clifton Cakes and the flowers were from Edith Wilmot. We were under strict instructions not to eat the cake, which I’m glad we obeyed as the inside was made of polystyrene. Special mentions also to Tomasz our hair stylist from Sean Hanna and the make-up artist par excellence, Sophie B.
