Kingscote Barn, a wedding in the heart of the Cotswolds – Part 2
We left off last time with our bride arriving and her groom nervously waiting… so let’s join them as she makes her entrance.
Kingscote Barn is a really lovely venue, and when it’s so sunny outside the light inside is glorious. I love how happy Helen looks.
These cupcakes were a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
The Bride and Groom had asked their friends to make a video instead of having lots of speeches, and it was really hilarious and touching too. A great idea if anyone’s not keen on standing up and speaking in front of everyone.
After the video and the dinner we went off for a wander in the fields near the Barn. They were absolutely gorgeous. Late May / early June is a really great time of year in that part of the world, the fields look wonderful and when the sun is shining it really feels quite magical.
By the time we got back, there was a hint of craziness in the air, with people queuing up to have a go in the Groovy Booth.
Before long it was time for the first dance, and then gradually everyone else joined in. The Iranian music, played for some of Ed’s family, was really good fun and lots of people joined in.
And that’s about it from this one – other than me managing to catch the bride having a go in the photo booth at the end of the night!
Hope you enjoyed it. More soon!
