taunton wedding photography: louise + gary

hey everyone! a fun-filled wedding for you today, featuring louise + gary’s glorious big day back in September. there’s something about weddings held at home that is especially lovely – not just on the day itself, but having all the associated memories of childhood, various happy times and then your marriage all wrapped up in one place is a really wonderful thing. In the same way that documentary wedding photographs can remind you of those moments in 3, 10 or 30 years time, so can revisiting where you got married. And being able to do that often is a remarkable thing. A big thank you to lou and gary for making me feel so welcome on the day. There are some images of the speeches further down, and I just feel I should point out (and perhaps reassure Gary) that I’ve not shown some of them, as they weren’t really suitable for public consumption. oh my goodness… well done! this is one of those “i felt like i was there” blog posts… you nailed all the important moments so clearly unobtrusively – even in the portraits it’s like you’re not there wedding photojournalism at its finest! looks like such a lovely wedding, and i love the couple’s dance shots!
