bath guildhall wedding photography: caroline + anthony

Just before Christmas I photographed a lovely, intimate wedding in Bath and I wanted to show you some pictures from the day. There’s always something about smaller weddings which I really enjoy from a documentary point of view. Bath in December looked beautiful – it was a crisp winter’s day and the low sun lit the buildings and streets – but it was how close everyone seemed to Caroline and Anthony that really made some of these images for me. With intimate weddings there are emotional, moving images to be found at every turn; provided you know where to look. And I hope you’ll agree that these photographs capture some of that magic feeling from the day. Caroline and Anthony were married at the Guildhall in Bath, had a lovely meal at Casanis restaurant, before returning to the Queensbery Hotel for drinks. Thank you Caroline and Anthony for having me along on the day, I was honoured to be there and left with a big smile on my face!

Wonderful journalistic style wedding imagery. Seems like you are everywhere at once, but no one really notices you. Outstanding.

This is absolutely fantastic story telling! I love how you keep bringing it back to the baby, like a little but significant side story. I love your work.

Such a great document of their day! So much emotion (love that shot of her in the mirror while getting ready). I just smiled and smiled as I looked through the images.
